• Distributed energy is produced most efficiently at the neighborhood scale. However once the various suppressed technologies referred to as zero point energy become widely available, point of use will be the most efficient scale.
• Together with former council member Gil Garcia, Margaret co-founded the Santa Barbara Regional Energy Alliance in 2001. The purpose of this broadly ranging group was to create clean, green, locally produced energy for our region.
• Gil and Margaret are now in the process of reviving the Energy Alliance. The focus is on three types of energy: distributed energy,transportation and money.»
