Why the Self-Healing Education Center?
I am becoming a social entrepreneur: instead of creating a financial benefit to myself and future shareholders, I have decided to offer the Center and Earth First Farm to the people of Santa Barbara who are choosing to be a part of the transition to sustainable community.
Each person who participates benefits: they regain their good health while contributing to community and global sustainability. The community benefits, as does the planet. This work is a reflection of the world-wide phenomenon (as noted by Paul Hawken) of conscious individuals gathering within their local community to affect change at the grassroots level.
Ultimately I see a local Self-Healing Education Center in every community on the planet. All of us together are building a better world. ยป
